Mountain lion transported to zoo after wandering into California high school

Authorities in California reported a mountain lion was properly eliminated from a superior college right after wandering into the constructing.

On Wednesday, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Place of work said the animal walked into Pescadero Higher School. A janitor contained it in a classroom right up until California wildlife officers could properly get rid of it.

The section explained that all pupils and staff members were risk-free through the incident on social media.

As soon as on scene, wildlife officials observed the male cub in a classroom, hiding below a teacher’s desk.

Officers stated just immediately after 7 p.m., wildlife officers were being equipped to take out the male cub by sedating it and then transporting it to the Oakland Zoo.

Zoo officials think the animal is about 6-8 months previous.

After the animal was in their possession, the zoo’s veterinarian examined the mountain lion and observed he had a badly fractured tooth, which they extracted.

Zoo officials claimed the animal is far too young to survive on his very own in the wild, so when he is experience much better, they will area him at an accredited zoo.
