Town Mountain Seek Change In New Song, ‘Lines in the Levee’

“The studio would not come to feel like it is really changed a lot because the ’70s,” he says. “We were being blown away by the vintage classic vibe it evoked. It was an inspiring place to record.”

That inspiration saturates “Strains in the Levee,” and though the solution to the query, “What is a poor region boy to do?,” is never totally realized, the song offers hope and confidence in the confront of the uncertainty and panic from the last two years.
