As it was my second trip to India, therefore I thought to take a Golden Triangle Tour which gives you the chance to visit three historical cities of India- Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Tour to golden triangle India took around 6 days to complete. Golden triangle is the amazing tour that left me speechless.
I with my kids reached Delhi International Airport from France on 3rd May 2010, where we were escorted by a representative and was shifted to the hotel which was booked for us in advance. After taking little refreshment and rest, during the evening I moved for the evening sight seeing trip to Delhi which will cover India Gate, Paliament House, Connaught Place else we also enjoyed the shopping in Janpath Market where we found the exclusive handicrafts. After enjoying, I returned to my hotel room for the overnight stay and dinner.
On the next day, we traveled to the most important historical spots of the capital city Delhi. I visited Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, etc. Jama Masjid is the most sacred spot for the Muslims and is the largest mosque of the whole country. After seeing these historical spots we will go to visit Akshardham Temple near to which we had also seen the village that has been established for the Commonwealth Games 2010.
On the next day morning I drove to Jaipur. After the arrival I checked in to the hotel which has been booked for me in advance. Afternoon free. Next day, I traveled to Amber Fort, which was the ancient capital of the state. After visiting Amber Fort, I visited Sheesh Mahal, which is known to be the special attraction of Jaipur. The city Jaipur has been named as ‘Pink City’ through the Hawa Mahal which is Pink in color.
After experiencing, the exotic beauty of Jaipur, we will travel to Agra. So next day morning, we will drive to Agra, enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri as it is just 40 kilometers from Agra and was established by emperor Akbar in 1569. There are also many such graceful monuments like Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal, etc.
Next day, we will experience the awestruck beauty of Taj Mahal ‘Seventh Wonder of World’ established by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for her wife Queen Mumtaz. Later, we will visit Agra Fort and Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah which was established by Empress Noorjehan in the memory of her father. During the afternoon after taking lunch, we will drive to Delhi. After reaching Delhi by evening, I was transferred to Delhi International Airport.
