After a merry afternoon traveling around Virginia City, you can simply head to the 1870 Virginia & Truckee Depot for a ride on the Electric Holiday Train o’ Lights. You will get a narrated ride of forty minutes that will take you to Gold Hill on a steam engine garnished with thousands of lights. The holiday train will run Friday and Saturday evenings till December 18.

  • Polar Express

When you climb aboard The Polar Express, the magical Christmas tale comes to life in Carson City. Take pleasure in hot chocolate and cookies as listen to the story of The Polar Express. And of course, you simply can’t miss Santa, who makes an emergence each evening. The train will leave from the V&T Railway Eastgate Depot every night to December 24.
